The National French Week is a program organized by the American Association of Teachers of French, aiming to "take French out of the classroom and into the schools and community to promote interdisciplinary cooperation, let the students demonstrate what they can do with the language, and celebrate the French language and French-speaking cultures which are found both in the U.S. and on all continents".
